Joan enjoyed a cross-country trip, driving her 1966 Corvette, her 1988 Monte Carlo, playing joker poker, scratch offs, lotto, and watching game shows. She loved to read, including newspapers and magazines.

Joan was pre-deceased by her stepson, Charles Siclari III; oldest grandson, Andrew John “A.J.” Clark; brothers, John Bockowski, Joseph Bockowski, Edward “Butch” Bockowski, and Stanley “Stosch” Bockowski; and sister, Evelyn Kemper.
