James Ray

James P. Ray, 65, of Tottenville, Staten Island, passed away on June 3, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of Eileen Ray; the loving father of Jamie L. Dilorio, (nee Ray), and the late James P. Ray Jr.; dear grandfather of Frankie and Devin. He was the dear brother of Irene Derouaux and Patricia A. Ray-Torres.
He was born in Woodhaven, Queens, then moved to Staten Island. Jim attended McKee High School.
He worked for Broadway Maintenance/ Forest Electric for 20 years, in the DBM Division (Local 3). Jim was a member of The Church of St. Andrew.
His passion was collecting antique cars, '50s music and watching classic movies. He enjoyed spending time at the Garage with his friends, and going to breakfast with his family and friends.
There will be a memorial service at The Church of St. Andrew in Richmondtown on June 18, 2016, at 10 a.m. A Repast will follow at Hemsley Hall, across the street from the church.
