Immacolata (Racco) De Santis, 90, of Staten Island, New York, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24th, 2021.

Immacolata was born on December 8, 1930, in Reggio Calabria Italy, the daughter of Maria Teresa and Felice Racco.  In 1978, after her husband, Pietro De Santis died in 1977, she moved her family to Brooklyn, New York.  Immacolata was a loving caring mother of nine, and a step-mom to four additional children.  Her primary focus and devotion was always her children well-being.

Mrs. De Santis is survived by her loving sons, daughters, daughters-in-laws, and sons-in-laws: Rocco and Stella De Santis; Maria and Antonio Vetere; Giulia and Gennaro Macri; Rosetta and Clementino Cabonargi; Natalina and Antonio Sorrentino; Romolo and Sandra De Santis; Philip and Jennifer De Santis; Dominick and Marilena De Santis; and her youngest son Antonio De Santis; step-sons: Francesco, Salvatore and Rosario; step-daughter Domenica; sisters Giulia and Rosa; brothers Rocco (deceased) and Franco; and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Calling hours for family and friends will be Tuesday May 25th, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at Bedell Pizzo Funeral Home, 7447 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY.  A funeral mass will be held Wednesday May 26, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians.
