STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Harold Schultz, 68, of Great Kills, an information technology director for the city Health and Hospitals Corp. and a volunteer coach, died Thursday at Eger Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Egbertville.

Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Schultz moved to Great Kills in 1996.

He was information technology director for the city Health and Hospitals Corp. for 25 years.

Mr. Schultz graduated from John Jay High School, Brooklyn.

He enjoyed photography and spending time with his family. He was also a parishioner and longtime volunteer coach at St. Anselm's R.C. Church, Brooklyn, for many years.

Surviving are Mr. Schultz's wife of 50 years, the former Diane Montano; his sons, Harold and Steven; his daughters, Denise Durkin and Susan D'Amico; his brother, Gregory; his sister, Maryann Corley, and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be Monday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, also Tottenville. Arrangements include cremation.

Services: A 10:00 AM Mass of Christine Burial will be on Monday, June 9,2014 at Our Lady Help Of Christian R.C. Church. Cremation to follow at Rose Hill Crematory

Visitation: Friends will be received on Sunday June 8,2014 from 2-4 & 7-10 PM
