Gloria Mascia-Iadanza

Gloria Mascia Iadanza, 86 years old of Staten Island, NY, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she will be missed terribly by all.

Gloria is the loving mother and mother-in-law to Joanne (Iadanza) McNamara of Staten Island, NY; Debra and Eddie Baktis of Valley Stream, NY; Michael Iadanza of Vestal, NY; Phyllis Maddaloni and John Gomez of Staten Island, NY; Theresa (Buffy) and Peter Martellaro of Lynbrook, NY; and Thomas and Gina Iadanza of Staten Island, NY.

She is the cherished grandmother to KelliAnn McNamara, John McNamara, Nikki Iadanza, Kimberly Baktis, Dena Iadanza, Phillip Maddaloni, Jamie Iadanza, Jenna Iadanza, Alexandra Gomez, Samantha Martellaro, Ava Iadanza, and Thomas Iadanza.

She is the dear great-grandmother to Peter Giambrone, Brianne Giambrone, Kennedy Grimando and Brody McNamara. Gloria is also survived by her sister, Katie Perrone and many nieces and nephews who loved her.

Gloria was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where she grew up in Sunset Park and then raised her family in Bensonhurst. She loved spending time with her family and entertaining.  She especially loved Christmas which was her favorite holiday. She was an amazing cook. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and playing cards with her many friends. She loved pugs. Gloria lived a life full of love and had an open door policy and gave of herself selflessly.  Her children consider themselves blessed to have been able to call her their mom. She has left us with countless memories and will be greatly missed and never forgotten. The love and life she shared with her family and friends has been written and will never die.
