Gina Persico

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gina Persico (nee:Munson) 58, who died peacefully surrounded by her family, on January 25, 2025.

Gina as Born on September 27, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York to James and Jeannine Munson. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank Persico and her father, James . She is survived by her mother, Jeannine Munson; children, Frank, Anthony and Gianna; four grandchildren, Luciana, Anthony, Jr. , Joseph, Jr. and Frank, III; brothers, James (Michele), Kenneth (Stacy), John(Lisa); sister- in- law, Maria Persico; and seven nieces and nephews.

Gina worked for the Department of Education as a Para- Professional at P.S. 54, and recently graduated with her Bachelors degree in Education.

Growing up she was an avid softball player for Great Kills Little League, making three all star teams ('77, '78,'79)  The '78 team advanced to the Eastern Regional finals.

Gina had an outgoing personality, and always went through life with her head held high. She loved summers on Long Beach Island, enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grand children.
