Frank A. Frustaci Jr., age 70, passed away on September 12, 2022.
Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY to Frank and Stella (Voci). He had a younger brother, Aldo, who passed away in 2009.
Frank married Joanne (Assini) in 1977 and they had three children, Deanna, Frank, and Joseph, who they raised in Staten Island in the house they built and lived in since 1986.
Frank, also known as Frank the Butcher, Big Frank, and Frankie Fru, was best known for his sense of humor and his ability to make anyone laugh. After running his own butcher shop for many years, Frank held jobs that he loved at Top Tomato and Freddie's in Staten Island and Livoti's Old World Market in New Jersey.
Frank enjoyed spending time with friends and family, most especially his five grandchildren who were the light of his life.
Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Joanne, of forty-five years; his children, Deanna and Thomas Toolan, Frank and Michelle Frustaci, and Joseph and Alondra Frustaci; and his five grandchildren, Michael, Madison, Benjamin, Jack, and Thomas, as well as an expected sixth grandchild in early 2023.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Staten Island.
