Frances Guidice

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Frances Guidice, 79, of Bulls Head, a devoted mother and grandmother, died Wednesday in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.

Born Frances Dimino in Manhattan, she lived most of her life in Brooklyn before settling in Bulls Head 15 years ago.

Mrs. Guidice was a food service worker at James Madison High School in Brooklyn for 20 years, retiring in 1994.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and visiting Atlantic City.

Mrs. Guidice's husband of 33 years, Sonny, died in 1988.

She is survived by a son, Paul; a daughter, Theresa Guidice, and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, Pleasant Plains. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
