Enes M. Paoluccio, 91, of Sunnyside, a former seamstress and a homemaker who loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephews, died Saturday in Addeo House Hospice, Egbertville, where she had been a patient for two days.

Born Enes Deglialberti in Manhattan, she was brought to Staten Island as a girl and graduated from McKee High School.

She worked as a seamstress briefly in her younger years.

After she and Patrick F. Paoluccio wed in 1949, the couple moved to Sunnyside.

Mrs. Paoluccio was an avid reader and loved gardening and cooking. She had a great love for animals and supported rescue organizations.

She had traveled worldwide and enjoyed sharing stories about her memorable experiences with her loved ones.

And with no children of her own, she took great delight in her nieces and nephews, and her cousins, Al Riposi and Gina Lupo, family said.

She was a wonderful woman, the best of the best, said her niece, Laura Valle. Her angelic nature and kindness will be dearly missed by all.

Mrs. Paoluccio was a parishioner of St. Teresa's R.C. Church, Castleton Corners.

Patrick, her husband of 43 years, died in 1992.

The funeral will be Wednesday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a Mass at 10:45 a.m. in St. Teresa's Church. Burial will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
