Concetta Mancino

Concetta Maria Mancino, 81 of Eltingville passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 30, 2017. Born on Monday, June 1,1936 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa DeNicola. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Mancino. Concetta and Lawrence were married for 49 years. Concetta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She cherished the time she spent with her family and always loved to be with her seven grandchildren. In her working years, she was a para professional at New Dorp High School. She retired in 1998 to help raise her grandchildren. She loved spending her winters in Naples, Florida.
Concetta is survived by her three children Dr. Lawrence Mancino, Michele Kiernan and Richard Mancino, her daughters in law Stacy and Vivian, her son in law Tom and her seven grandchildren, Christopher, Thomas, Olivia, Sofia, Lawrence, Anna and Richard and her brother Anthony DeNicola. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to the St. Jude's Children Foundation.

Services: Monday, July 3, 2017 - 10:00 am - Mass of Christian burial at Holy Child R.C. Church, followed by Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation: Sunday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm
