IN HONOR OF CHRISTOPHER GUNN
Christopher Gunn was born in Brooklyn on February 2, 1980, to his parents Ann & John Gunn. He eventually moved to Staten Island with his parents and older brother John. Later on, his parents gave birth to a second brother Michael, and they continued to happily live together for many years.
Christopher took the job as an IronWorker, becoming a member of Local 40 & 361, International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers Union. His career flourished for many years until an untimely and unfortunate accident on April 29, 2008. After many years of painstaking surgeries and rehabilitation, Christopher returned home to his Loving Family. Ironically, he passed away on Labor Day, September 5, 2022.
Christopher is survived by his loving parents, Ann & John; his brother John; his younger brother Michael & sister-in-law Victoria; nephew Lorenzo Christopher, niece Briella, and cousins, the Savarese's & DePalma's.
Christopher was a Loving Dad to Roxie & Loving Stepdad to Reggie, the family's two beautiful dogs. He was a special individual, who loved making people laugh; his smile lighting up any room he entered. Christopher had a special love for music, and video games were a passion in his everyday life. He had a love for great food, yet would never eat the "last bite" for fear "it could ruin the end of the meal".
Christopher had an abundance of close friends who loved him dearly, and who will miss him for eternity. Christopher will surely be remembered by all who TRULY LOVED HIM; His Only Family, His Friends, Business Associates, Co-Workers, and ALL who had the honor of knowing him. His passing is heartbreaking and he has left us all too soon.
Funeral services are to be held at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home 7447 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10307, Sunday 9/11/22 & Monday 9/12/22, 2 - 4 PM & 7 - 9 PM.
The family is requesting that no Flowers or Eucharistic Gifts be sent. Mass Cards are certainly welcomed.
