Charles John Siclari passed away on October 10, 2024. He was born to Charles and Lillian Siclari on February 10, 1948 in Staten Island, New York. He was the oldest of three children and lovingly nicknamed "Butch".
As a young boy, Charlie spent his time riding his horses and helping to care for the family farm. He was also a member of the Sheriff's Posse, following in his father's footsteps. As Charlie grew older, he developed a passion for working on cars, especially classics. He rebuilt and restored many cars over the years. Charles graduated from Tottenville High School in 1966. He worked for Con Edison for 36 years and retired as a Chief Lineman in 2003. He married the love of his life Joan Skjeie on March 30th, 1980. Charles was a doting, devoted, husband, an amazing dad, and a proud loving Grandpa to his 4 Grandchildren.
Charlie was a master mechanic who was meticulous about his work. He could spend countless hours in the garage working on a particular project. He was known around the neighborhood as the guy who could fix anything. He loved driving his classic cars and one of his favorite rides was his cross country trip in the vette with his wife Joan. He was also an incredibly, talented leather craftsman. You would always see him in cowboy boots, a denim shirt, jeans with his gold corvette buckle, and a can of Budweiser in his hand.
