Catherine Colonna, 92, died on July 16, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Catherine moved to Brooklyn, where she lived most of her life until she moved to Staten Island to Huguenot in 2012.
She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and feed her family. She loved time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Catherine was pre-deceased by her husband, Dominick. She is survived by her children, Rosa Sekzer (the late Philip) and Nicholas (Marie); her grandchildren, Nicole Colonna, Christine Moramarco, Melissa Kane, Matthew and Michael Sekzer, and her great-grandchildren, James, Noel, Noah, Patrick and Dominick.
Funeral is from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Friday at 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church at 10 a.m.
Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Friends may visit Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
