Longtime Staten Islander Carole Williams, 77, of Prince's Bay, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Tuesday at home.

Born Carole Miglino in Brooklyn, she moved to Prince's Bay in 1987.

Mrs. Williams and her late husband, George, enjoyed the company of The Club, a group of friends and family who still meet after 60 years.

Her passion was cooking Italian delicacies and she was known for her ability to make a gourmet meal out of the simplest ingredients.

Mrs. Williams loved entertaining family and friends and would prepare for days in advance when hosting a holiday.

She was a wonderful and dedicated wife and a very loving mother and grandmother, her family said. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and giving ways.

Her husband, George, died in August after 57 years of marriage.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, George V.; her daughter, Catherine Cossean; her brother, Vincent Miglino, and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church, Huguenot. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
