Carol Guariglia, 70, of Tottenville, a loving mother who treasured her children and was fun to be around, died Wednesday at home.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, she graduated from New Utrecht High School in her native borough.
She settled in Tottenville in 1999.
A homemaker, Mrs. Guariglia was all about family, and loved having her children around her.
She enjoyed listening to music and was partial the Beatles and classic rock. She was also a New York Yankees fan and liked to watch Steve Harvey on the television show Family Feud.
She was preceded in death by her son, Alfred, in 1995.
She is survived by her son, Joseph; her daughter, Carol Guarilgia; a step daughter, Milka Milena, and her sister, Lorraine Moeller.
The funeral will be Monday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, with a mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, both in Tottenville. Burial will follow in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn.
