Carl J. Chacon 56, passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2022. Born July 03,1965 to Joseph and Rose Chacon, Carl was a lifelong Staten Islander.
He was a Loving father, husband, and friend who valued family above all and was always willing to help friends and strangers alike. Carl was a jack of all trades, a stock market genius, retail management expert and a 6th degree black belt in karate and earned the title of Shihan.
His wife Tahinna and daughter Brianna were the loves of his life and he did everything in his power to make sure they're taken care of.
He loved hiking, nature walks, road trips and gardening. Some of his favorite places to visit were Lake Placid, upstate NY and enjoyed going on cruises with his family. Most of all, his favorite pastime was spending time with Tahinna and Brianna!
Most noteworthy is that Carl loved to help others and loved to make people laugh. And, we all laughed when Carl was present!
Finally, Philipians 2:3-4 reads as follows:
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Those words from Scripture epitomize how Carl lived his life. We will miss his love, caring, humor and presence in our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
