Camille Marotto, a radiant spirit and unmatched matriarch, was born on September 10, 1936 and passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Camille was not just a survivor of life's trials, including her courageous battle with cancer, but a thriver who approached each day with undeniable grace and fervor.

As a dedicated secretary at Bartels & Elford, Camille made her mark with an unwavering work ethic while embodying the essence of kindness and warmth to all who crossed her path. But her greatest role was that of a single mother, fiercely committed to raising her beloved granddaughter, Samantha Frank, with love and wisdom. A formidable woman, Camille's strength was matched only by her glamorous presence—a true lady in red, often adorned with impeccably styled hair, polished nails, and her signature red lipstick that would light up any room.

The heartbeat of her home resonated with laughter—a joyous sound that lingered long after she had departed. Camille was undeniably one of the biggest fans of the New York Mets, unwavering in her support for her team, and relished moments spent cheering them on. When she wasn’t engaged in lively baseball games, one could find her watching "Days of Our Lives" or blasting music in her car.

Her interests were as diverse as her personality; an enthusiast of the performing arts, cooking, and arts and crafts, Camille possessed a creative spirit that knew no bounds. She poured love into every crochet project she crafted and relished the joy of spending holidays decorating her home, particularly cherishing the annual transformation into her enchanting Christmas village. It was these thoughtful gestures that showcased her ability to create beauty and magic in the everyday.

As a devoted member of the Red Hat Society, Camille embraced her classy and sassy side, connecting with friends through the celebration of life and camaraderie. Whether lost in the melodies of her favorite musical movies or dancing ballroom style—a passion from her younger days—Camille lived each moment with an enthusiasm that others admired and aspired to replicate. Her love for her cherished pets, Tug and Casey, further exemplified the deep affection she held for the creatures that brought joy into her life.

Camille couldn't live without her decaf coffee, prepared just right with half and half. A devout follower of her Catholic faith, she drew strength from her beliefs, nurturing her spirit even through life's toughest challenges.

Camille's journey has now entered a new phase, yet the impact of her laughter, love, and strength will resonate long after her departure. She joins her late daughter, Joanne Frank, in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and glamour, faith and friendship.
