Brian Leon McBride was born on October 7, 1982, in Bayonne, NJ, and passed away on May 10, 2022. Brian was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident while in Thailand. He attended Monsignor Farrell High School Class of 2000. Brian played both lacrosse and ice hockey while he was a student there. He went on to study at Adelphi University and the College of Staten Island. Brian was an entrepreneur who founded his own International container supply company, BOSS Containers.
Brian was an avid golfer and practiced Muay Thai boxing during his many trips to Thailand, which was his favorite place to be. He loved being outdoors especially in warm weather locations and by the ocean. Brian always looked for the best in people and would give the shirt off of his back which he did for so many.
Brian’s family was the most important thing in his life and the love he had for them was unconditional. His personality, sense of humor, and smile lit up the room as soon as he walked in. This world was a much better place with him in it.
Brian is survived by his loving parents, Brian and Dorothy, his sister Melissa and her husband Louis, his sister Malorie, his niece and nephew, Madison and Jack Bertucccio along with many family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 P.M. on Monday, May 23, 2022 and 2:00-4:00 P.M and 7:00-9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea located at 5411 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY 10312. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
