Beverly Vroome

Beverly Jane Vroome (nee: Randon), 92, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2022 after a short illness. She was born to Eleanor & Thomas A.
Randon and grew up in Tottenville attending PS 1 and Tottenville HS and was a Candie Striper at Richmond Memorial Hospital during WW II.
Beverly married Donald P. Vroome on September 7,1949 and moved to Pleasant Plains where they raised their family. Beverly was very active in her community as a Cub Scout Den Mother (Cub Pack 46), Boy Scout Mother (Scout Troop 46), Election Poll worker, PTA at PS 3, Board of Directors of The Conference House Association and Conference House Auxiliary for many years, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star- Huguenot Chapter.
Beverly will be missed by many. She was a good Wife, Mother and Nana.

Beverly was a die-hard NY Met fan. She enjoyed vacationing in the Catskill Mountains and the NJ beaches.
Beverly is pre-deceased by her husband, Donald P. Vroome; sons, David P. Vroome and Paul A. Vroome; sister, Eleanor Randon.
She is survived by her son Brian R. Vroome, and wife Janice S.; brother, Thomas Randon; grandchildren, Donald P., Catherine A., Christopher A., Steven M.

A Funeral Home Service will be held at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00AM. Interment to follow at Moravian Cemetery.

Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8PM.
