Aurora Scamardella

Aurora Scamardella, 94, passed away peacefully on November 19,  2022. She was born on December 12, 1927 to Pietro and Gabriella Greco in Brooklyn, New York. She married her late husband, Vincent "Lefty" Scamardella on May 28, 1950, and was married 51 years.
Aurora was a devout Christian and attended Gateway Church. She was a devoted, loving wife and mother. She always stressed the importance of family and instilled those values into her children. Aurora had a heart of gold and cherished each relationship made throughout her life. Aurora also loved to cook, bake, crochet, knit and listen to music.
Aurora is survived by her sons Michael, Peter, Vincent (Alma), and Frank Scamardella; daughter, Donna Popovics (Raymond); 3 grandchildren, Samantha, Heather and Justin Popovics; brother, Sylvio Greco.
Aurora was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Angela Scamardella; her brother, Frank Greco; and her sisters, Elena Siano and Bianca Guadagno.
