Assunta Fiorica, "Suzy", a Staten Island resident, born on Nov. 5, 1931 in Porto Empedocle, Italy, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 86.
Assunta lived a full life for her family and friends.
Assunta was married to the late Salvatore Fiorica. She was the beloved mother of Angela Olivo and Raymond Fiorica, and grandmother to Dominick Olivo and Andrew Fiorica, great-grandmother to Dominick Olivo and Charlotte Olivo. She will also be significantly missed by Frank Olivo, Kate Fiorica, Avi Lazarovits and Heather Olivo.
Funeral is from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Help of Christian's R.C. Church at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Assunta's name to VNS Hospice would be appreciated.
