Aquilina Vacirca

Aquilina Vacirca was born on June 1st 1931 in Licodia Eubea, Sicily. She met her husband Salvatore in Italy. They then immigrated to the United States in the mid 50’s at the age of 24. She settled in New York where her time was dedicated to raising her two children, Carmine and Angela.

Aquilina was very social.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed playing cards with friends, loved to go to parties and dance the night away. You couldn’t get her off the dance floor. She also loved to take trips to Atlantic City and spent most of her time with her family.

She is survived by her children Carmine and Angela; grandchildren Thomas, Marie-Elena, Anthony and Natalie; great-grandchildren Michael, Anthony, Sophia, Thomas, Anthony, Sebastian and Mason.

She will be missed by many but we are assured that she is in the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ and that her legacy will live on through her family. The Bible promises that we will see her again and we are standing on his precious promise.
