Antoinette DiGiaro

August 9, 1931 — September 21, 2022

Antoinette DiGiaro (Spicola) died peacefully on September 21st. She was the most caring, loving, and giving, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to John and Mary Spicola (LaGaipa). She was the youngest child with a brother Joseph and sister Lena who both predeceased her. She worked in the Brooklyn Navy Yard and married Albert in 1949, living in Brooklyn, NY before moving their family to Staten Island, NY.

Antoinette cherished her family and enjoyed every moment she spent with them. She loved cooking, knitting and her greatest pleasure was being Goo Goo, babysitting her grandchildren and hosting magnificent family celebrations.

In her final years she lived at Arbor Terrace, where she loved to play cards and Bingo with her dear friends.

Antoinette is predeceased by her loving husband Albert and beloved daughter Deborah Ann. She is survived by her devoted daughters Carolyn (Philip) and Marianne and loving sons, Steven (Vitina) and Gregory (MaryAnn). She was blessed with her 10 grandchildren; Olivia, Cassey (Steve), Christine (JP), Nicholas, Thomas (Melissa), Lauren, Victoria, Rachel, Steven and Gregory Jr. and two great grandchildren, Finley and Oliver. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
