Anthony St. Pierre

Anthony St Pierre, 93 passed away in his home in Prince's Bay on Thursday, March 3. Anthony is survived by his 4 children Rosellen, William, Thomas, and Susan, 8 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Anthony was born in Brooklyn New York. He joined the Marines at 17 and served in the Pacific during World War Two. Anthony worked as an auto mechanic with Roger's Pontiac in Brooklyn for 28 years and followed that up with 26 years at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). Anthony and Eileen were married in 1953 and were together until her passing in 2016. The family moved to Staten Island in 1964 where they were active parishioners at St. Joseph St. Thomas and played an important role in the development of the parish and the associated grammar school.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 7 pm to 9 pm at Bedell Pizzo Funeral Home in Tottenville.
