Anthony Renda, 51, of Tottenville, a car dealership co-owner and general manager, died Wednesday in Staten Island University Hospital, Prince's Bay.
Born in Manhattan, Mr. Renda was raised in Brooklyn and settled in Tottenville in 1999.
Mr. Renda worked for 17 years as the co-owner and general manager at Fordham Toyota in the Bronx.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, Tottenville.
Mr. Renda was an avid car enthusiast who also enjoyed traveling and spending time at his winter residence in Florida. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a very generous, caring, loving husband and father, said his wife of 11 years, the former Adrienne DeLaRosa.
Along with his wife, Adrienne, also surviving are two sons, Vincent Renda and Mark Pompa; three daughters, Breana Renda, Alexa and Crysta Pompa; his mother, Carmela Renda; one brother, Sam Renda, and one sister, Rita Latella.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a mass at 9:45 a.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
