Anthony J. Puliafico

Anthony J. Puliafico passed away  at the age of 87 on August 28, 2023 after suffering with Alzheimers and Parkinson Disease. He was surrounded by his loving family.  

Anthony was born and raised in the lower East Side of Manhattan.  He went to work at a very young age doing numerous jobs in building construction, delivering fruits and vegetables, and in the garment district to support his family.  He married Rose Marie DiPasqua and they raised three wonderful children together.  

At the time of his retirement, he worked at Boca in the Huntspoint Market as a foreman and his family enjoyed the many treats that he brought home.  His favorite times were spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was known as "Uncle Tony" throughout Staten Island and as Mr. Jesna throughout the construction community.  

Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Marie; his loving sons, Anthony (Robin), Thomas (Susan); his loving daughter, Donna Ferraiuolo (Frank); his cherished grandchildren, Jessica (Sal), Christina, Jenna (Sal), Alyssa (Nick), Frankie, Amanda (Matt); and his cherished great grandchildren, Jameson and Liliana.
