Anthony DeNuzzie, 93, of Tottenville S.I NY passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024 at his sons home in West Virginia surrounded by loved ones to be with the lord.
Anthony was born On May 24, 1930 in Mariners Harbor, Staten Island. Shortly after high school in 1950 he entered the Marines and served in the Korean War where he was awarded two Purple hearts. Following his service he worked 25 years for Procter & Gamble. After retirement he drove school buses for Pioneer Bus and worked for multiple funeral homes as a hearse driver.
On Sundays Anthony enjoyed meeting up with a group of his friends at one of the local Tottenville Delis. He was a 60 year resident of Tottenville where he had some close family, good neighbors and friends.
Anthony moved to Sutton West Virginia in late September of 2023 to live with his son Raymond DeNuzzie and wife Rebecca. Over the last 6 months there were many stories told, laughter and memories made.
In West Virginia he was surrounded by love with 5 grandchildren, and many other family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
