Anthony Borg

Anthony "Buddy" Borg, 80, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in New Port Richey Florida, surrounded by his family. Anthony, born in the Bronx, moved to Staten Island 47 years ago with his family and recently moved to Land O Lakes Florida with his beloved wife of 53 years, Dorothy. Since retiring from the Plumbers Local 1 Union 18 years ago, Anthony loved being a "snowbird," traveling back and forth between New York and Florida with his wife. He loved working around his home and was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Anthony was a great husband and father, a good friend, and an even better "Pop". Above everything, Anthony loved spending time with his family. Survived by his wife, Dorothy (Krauer), he was a loving father to his daughters Patricia Clayton (Mark) and Janet Moscaritolo (Rocco) and son, Thomas Borg (Dawn). Devoted grandfather to the pride and joys of his life, his six grandchildren, Matthew, Edward, Anthony, Diana, Justin and Sarah. Loving brother to Charlotte Olsen and the late George Borg and brother-in-law to Fred and Linda Krauer, Bobbie Slockbower and Camile Borg. A memorial visitation will be held in celebration of his life on Sunday, May 26 from 11 am to 1pm, with a short service to follow at 1pm, at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations in Anthony's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
