After a long and courageous battle, Anthony, 55, passed away on October 2, 2023 surrounded by the love of his family.
Anthony was born in Brooklyn to Carol and the late Gerald Anzalone. He grew up on Staten Island with his brothers, Sal, Mike, the late Gerald, and Steven, whom he adored. He married his high school sweetheart, Danielle Marcotrigiano. He was a devoted and loving father to his children, Alexandra and Nicholas. They were his entire life. He also cherished his eleven nieces and nephews and was a loving brother-in-law to Donna, Brian, Terry, Debra, and Celeste. He was a proud dog grandpa to Ellie.
Anthony was a circuit technician for Verizon for thirty years. As an avid tennis fan and player, he was a member of both the Tottenville and Westerleigh Tennis Clubs. He was a diehard Minnesota Viking fan and shared his love for the team with his son, Nicholas. He also loved playing video games, watching Seinfeld and his barista skills were unmatched.
Anthony was a kind, funny, loving amazing man who will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers, as an animal lover, donations to Arm the Animals www.armtheanimals.com OR donations to Harboring Hearts www.harboringhearts.org, whose mission is to serve families of cardiac and transplant patients most in need of support would be appreciated in Anthony's name.
