Agata "Tina" Barbara

Agata “Tina” Barbara, born January 6, 1942, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 19th, 2024. At her side was her devoted husband of 63 years, Peter, and along with him, she leaves a loving family that worshiped her. Her Daughter Jackie, Son-in-law Santo, Grandchildren Michael, Peter, Danielle & Anthony, Great-Grandchildren: Rosario, Dominick, Avianna, Leo, Salvatore and Antonina and Granddaughter-in-law’s Jaclyn, Giovanna & Francesca. She was loved and admired by them and the many other family & friends who were fortunate enough to know her. She is now reunited in heaven with her Son, Peter, and other loved ones that have moved on from this life.

Agata was one of 8 children, she immigrated from Sicily in 1958 and was married to Peter in 1961. For nearly half a century she worked as a seamstress, but her true passion was always her family. She was a gifted cook, Sunday dinner with her was always the highlight of the week. She was the center of any dance floor and her smile, sense of humor and personality made anytime spent with her full of joy, laughter and love. Her strength and resilience through loss and sickness will be forever celebrated and immortalized. 

She will be deeply missed.
