I had the pleasure of having ms Desantis in the third grade when she started teaching in Brooklyn.
I was simply passing time right now wondering if any of my favorite teachers were still working. I am deeply sorry for the families loss. She touched many lives in her career.

Please accept our deepest sympathy at this difficult time. Our daughter, Sidney was her student a few years back. They still spoke daily at school. She had a wonderful way of making Sidney feel special. They shared a love of music and she often shared stories about her dog. She was a kind and caring person as well as a dedicated teacher. She will be greatly missed.
